From there You will proceed to the Forbidden City, constructed during the reign of Emperor Yong Le in the Ming dynasty. It has been the seat of power of the Chinese empire for eight centuries outlasting both the Ming and Qing. The Forbidden City is also known as the Imperial Palace Museum with many national-treasure level artifacts - many of which have never been outside of China - on display.
